Beaded Journal Page -March

The colors are Spring welcome this butterfly to the collection.

Beaded Art Doll -March

Welcome Spring Buds to the collection of miniature beaded dolls. I've incorporated size 11 seed beads, glass daggers, bugle beads, pearls and sequins. She's a bright little girl.

Round Robin B&W doll

This is a round robin doll called Salt & Pepper with a black & white theme color. The doll came to me with only the clock face and form. I added 2 rows of black & white beads to resemble the gears on a clock. On the back is a checkerboard pattern of seed beads.

She has been sent away to the next beader for additional work.

Pod People

This is one in a series of many that I call Pod People. It is a mixed media sculpture full of beads, clay, fibers, shells and ribbons.

If you live in Arizona, you can view more of them at Artspace (aka Textures Gallery) in downtown Scottsdale.

Quilting adventure

An 8x10" applique I did as a swap. It was my first attempt and I was fairly happy with the outcome. The background is paint splatters.

Beaded Art Doll -February

This is D3 aka Dynasty Diva Doll. She celebrates Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day. Daisy chain, netting, Ndebele and square stitch were used in creating her.
She wears high heel Mary Jane shoes too. Her face was a lapel button.

Beaded Journal Page -February

A pink butterfly to celebrate the month of February. I later put pink flowers on the fiber.

Beaded bracelet

This bracelet is composed of the Chevron and right angle weave stitches. Firepolish beads embellish the outer edge of the bracelet.

Beaded bracelet

A recently acquired fused orange glass focal bead prompted me to create this carnival of colors for the wrist. Pearls, gold lentils and beaded spikes adorn this bracelet. The closure is hidden under the focal bead.

Raven's foot book

My newest book called the Raven's foot binding. It is called that because of the bird like feet binding on the edge.
