February BJP

Introducing Purple Passion. The face is an amethyst stone. She has metal bead caps for her boobs and holds a wishing star. The strap is done in Ndebele stitch. This was a very nostalgic piece for me and reminded me of one of my favorite childhood books, Harold and the Purple Crayon.

Flowers a'feather

The main cabochon is a polymer clay mold of flowers. The cabochon is encircled by purple and turquoiose leaves which look like feathers to me.
The bracelet is done in Delicas in a peyote stitch. The bracelet closes with snaps.

Another beaded brooch

Another beaded brooch in a different color scheme. It features a copper finding, cast glass cabochon and metal bead. The remaining beads are size 11 and 8's. I've bezeled the cabochon with seed beads and sequins. Fast and fun; immediate gratification!

February book of the month

The February book features a lovely Asian inspired paper and colors. Deckled paper is used for the signatures. The signatures are bound with a Codex stitch.
