Sparkling Blossom
This is a Round Robin doll. 6 beaders (including myself) worked on this doll which had a "Flower Child" theme. I identified with the theme having grown up in the Flower Child era. I beaded her bell bottoms. Isn't she groovy??
Slinky SuperDuo rope with bubbly center
Ok, I've jumped on the odd shaped bead bandwagon after resisting for a bit. Superduos, 2 hole lentils and seed beads are used in this pattern by Eileen Barker. Contact Beadhaven.com for a kit. I like the strong magnet and safety chain! I lost a bangle because it didn't have a chain.
Raku donut pendant
The raku donut was made by local artist, Mak. I used the center to present some crystals and chain with glass leaves. The bail is done in brick stitch.

Shibori Shimmer
I jumped on the Shibori bandwagon and created this bracelet using a fused glass focal piece from a friend. Pearls, O beads, crystals, flower sequins, seed beads and shiny metallic threads were added.
Untitled bracelet
Focal lampwork bead from Alana. I simply added metal sequins and crystals oval to a leather-like base. The focal speaks for itself.
Lamplight Necklace
A commissioned piece. Lampwork bead from Alana. Crystal beaded beads mimic the focal bead and are connected with an Ndebele rope.
BuddhaBot
I brought the Many Faces of Buddha head back from SE Asia. The head begged for a mixed media project. An recycled M&M dispenser was used for the body. Vintage jewelry, a small buddha and "arms" were attached to the body. It was finished off with Joss paper.

Mista Marbeauz
Mista Marbeauz makes me smile. He is a bead embroidered clown. The lampwork face is made by AZ artist, Laurie Greenberg. I beaded the sweater with Ndebele stitch, the pants in square stitch and the sox in peyote stitch.
Caged
Caged uses a raku cabochon made by Raku Studios. Love your work, Mak! The focal piece has a nice metal appeal to it so I used that theme with my added seed beads, metal and chain.
VooDoo Warrior
VooDoo Warrior, a mixed media project with Cindy Kovack. We began with a artist armature, painted and embellished.
