This stitch is a cross between peyote and netting.
The artist, Nancy Strahle, calls it single space stitch. I ended the bracelet a bit different than called for by making a circular brick stitch with hex and size 8 seed beads. A Czech button hides the straps of each braid. The closure is square stitched with a wire inside to reinforce it. I love the color palette.
